Hi,

I'm Carolyn. I am an artist and graphic designer who likes to work and explore with fabric as a medium. I have created a series of fabric pieces or arrangements I call, "Fabri-cations".

They are constructed with fabric sewn in to shapes. I then put wire inside to give each shape flexibility and support. Then they are stuffed and sewn up. They are then arranged in a sconce or container and stuck in to floral styrofoam. I add elements of ribbon and sometimes artificial floral accent pieces.

 

Some pieces are along the lines of small art quilts or wall hangings and door hangers.

 

As a little girl, I really liked cats. Still do.
